How To Join ACT WFP (Walking For Pleasure)

Our public liability insurance conditions require that walkers be financial members. Membership entitles you to delivery of the quarterly newsletter and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting. Membership fees are currently (FY 07-08) set at $20 per member. For a couple residing at the same address, there is a membership fee of $20 for the first person and then $10 for the second member. In this case, only one newsletter is delivered to the address, but both members have voting rights.

Please note that all walkers must sign the following disclaimer before each walk:

"In signing this walk attendance record I freely acknowledge that I participate voluntarily and at my own risk in activities conducted by ACT Walking For Pleasure Inc. I understand and agree that ACT WFP Inc, its office bearers, leaders and agents accept no liability arising from injury, loss or damage suffered by any person while engaged in an activity conducted by or for ACT WFP Inc."
